Creating an Ethical Digital Footprint

This will be the home page for my Action Research project, the tentative question for which is:
"How can we build the efficacy of parents and teachers in the use of social media and web 2.0 to positively affect the digital footprints of our students?"

This project forms part of the course work for my studies in the Master of School Leadership program with the Bastow Institute and the University of Melbourne.

  • To provide a shared space to post articles for background reading on this topic.
  • To provide a public profile for the project
  • To provide a collaborative space for project members and interested observers to comment and discuss the issues involved.

I would really like this wiki to be a collegiate 'workspace' and so I'm leaving the permissions open for anyone to update or add information that may help in the course of the project. An invitation is extended to any teacher or student or parent who would like to join the professional learning team working on this project.

To add your own ideas, simply click on the 'Edit' button on the top ,right hand of any page and add your information.
To invite or join a conversation on any of the items on a particular page, start a new discussion by clicking the 'discussion' tab at the top of that page.
For general discussion, please visit the Round Table.

Updates and discussion of topics associated with the project will also appear on my Blog

* Mortlake College students please note that I will need your signed permission notes before you post to the wiki.
